We appreciate that parking at the airport is the starting and finishing point of the journey for all our guests and we are aware of the importance of our role, especially in the midst of the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the steps we are taking to protect our parking family – guests and staff alike – to ensure that your journey goes as smoothly as possible.
We want you to know that the health and safety of our guests and our staff is paramount in all our decisions. This page will be updated as necessary as new information becomes available. We informed you about the corona regulations at Tegel and Schoenefeld airports in our blog post.
We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this extraordinary travel period!
We are monitoring the situation closely and follow the proposals and guidelines of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the World Health Organisation (WHO). The cleanliness of our sites and vehicles has always been a priority for us. We know this is more important than ever and our local teams have tightened sanitation and cleaning procedures for all our shuttles, equipment and high traffic customer areas. In addition, our team is making every effort to provide all shuttle passengers and facility staff with antibacterial products.
We have established a cross-functional response team to coordinate rapid responses across our entire organisation, both to meet the needs of guests and to respond quickly to this rapidly evolving situation.
Our people are at the heart of our business and their well-being will always be our top priority. We remind our teams to adhere to the best practices of the health authorities and encourage everyone to look after themselves and also to stay at home when they feel ill.
The team. The people. The service. That’s what we stand for, and that’s what we will continue to focus on.
We would like to inform you about the steps we take to protect our parking family – guests and staff alike – to ensure that your trip goes as smoothly as possible.
In view of the declining demand for travel, we will temporarily consolidate operations in some of our locations. Please visit the pages of our sites to check the status of availability. All locations that remain open will continue to operate around the clock.
We look forward to reopening all locations soon!
Dein Stellplatz is proud to offer a variety of reservation options for travellers. The longer you stay and the earlier you book, the better your offer will be. To take advantage of the flexibility of no cancellation or rebooking fees, guests can also book the All Inclusive Protection Package. With a reservation paid for later, you still save on our already low rates and also have the option to cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival.
Shuttles run hourly and half-hourly (e.g. at 5:00 and 5:30 am) from our pitches to the airport. When you return home from your trip, please call the location where you parked to be picked up from the airport.
For 10 years now, your pitch has been a promise to you. We have been working at our locations to provide a safe, efficient and cost effective way for you to park near airports. This commitment remains strong in the face of the COVID 19 crisis. That is why we have introduced a number of security measures at our facilities. These include:
To ensure full compliance with these initiatives, we have introduced new training programmes for all our employees.
During the summer travel season, Dein Stellplatz would like to thank all of our guests in advance for their patience and understanding as we practice responsible physical distancing in our facilities and on our shuttles by limiting shuttle capacity. As the airports Tegel and Schönefeld also require face protection on the airport premises, we ask all guests to wear a mask during the ride on our shuttles. We may be obliged to turn away guests who do not comply with government orders or regulations. We thank you for protecting yourself and others and look forward to seeing you again soon!
In accordance with the latest recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), your pitch must now require all guests to wear masks or face protection on our shuttles.
If you have forgotten your mask, don’t worry: we have taken care of you! A limited supply of free masks will be available on our shuttles. This way you can protect yourself and others and all our guests can feel safe and comfortable on our shuttles.
We thank you for your help and cooperation and look forward to seeing you soon!
