Holiday stress due to poor preparation – and suddenly it gets expensive

Mr. Sommer* thought he was well prepared for his trip – at least that’s what he believed. He had booked his airport parking early with Dein Stellplatz, including a convenient shuttle service and the popular All-Round Protection Package. Everything seemed to be set for a smooth and stress-free start to his holiday.

But as it often happens: small details make a big difference – and this small oversight turned into a costly mistake.

A moment of carelessness with consequences

On the day of departure, Mr. Sommer missed a crucial step:
He didn’t properly read the booking confirmation. The address of the booked parking lot? Not saved.
So, instead of driving to Dein Stellplatz, he headed straight to the P1 airport parking garage – without giving it a second thought.

Once there, he tried to scan the QR code from his booking, but it didn’t work – of course not, because it was valid only for Dein Stellplatz. He then took a ticket, thinking it would sort itself out.

A classic case of “it’ll be fine” – until he returned and saw the real price of the mistake.

Unpleasant surprise after the tripge

After his return from what was hopefully a relaxing vacation, Mr. Sommer was met with a nasty surprise:
The parking fees at the airport were several times higher than what he had booked with Dein Stellplatz.

He contacted our customer support and sent over the receipt, hoping we could cover the cost.
Unfortunately, the airport parking garage is not part of our service, and we were unable to offer a refund.
