No, you don’t have to hand in your key – it’s optional and depends on the parking location:

At P1, you can decide on site:
Either park your car yourself and keep your key,
or book secure key storage in an alarm-protected safe for an additional fee.
At P2, key drop-off is not available.
You always keep your key there.
